Now that Nathalie and Andrew are 4 days into their Chinese Exploits they seem to be settling in nicely. Apparently they have been busy so far, losing no time, already visiting The Great Wall, the "Birdsnest" Stadium, witnessed a tea ceremony, visited some of the local supermarkets and shopping districts and observed snow and single digit temperatures.

All these updates have been received via Facetime, and I can assure everyone that the adventurers are safe and well thus far.

So, as you may have gathered neither Andrew nor Nathalie can claim authorship over this post and this is due to the lack of access, in China, to Social Media sites and Google.  So I have been given the great responsibility and privilege of updating this blog for now, uploading some poorly photoshopped images and reassuring you all that there will be the usual witty, cynical updates when Nathalie and Andrew return in a little under 2 weeks.

  1. Clearly visiting the 'Great Firewall of China'. Thought that might have been why updates had been scant even by my standards.
